Japanese acid free paper on rolls. If you prefer to make your hinges completely from “scratch” then this is your starting point. Japanese acid free paper is ideal for wet repairs, hinging and mounting works of art on paper. The paper is manufactured without buffers or optical brightening agents (OBA free). The paper is only 9gsm but is still very strong and retains a supple nature. When making your hinges use this in conjunction with NPHA1 (pH neutral adhesive).
